IT Director
Job Responsibilities
 |
Define system architecture for embedded software for online entertainment service, including interactive program guides, search and recommendations services, and media-sharing protocols. |

Manage and coordinate other architects to collaborate on the architecture of features and products. |
|
Work across internal teams and with external partners to understand system needs, define and communicate end-to-end application and services architecture. |
|
Create, document, present, and assimilate system and product specifications. |
|
Work with product teams to ensure solutions remain true to the architecture and satisfy operational requirements. |
|
Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance. |
|
Work with other department leaders to understand their operational needs and strategies in an effort to optimize cross-functional collaboration. |
|
Communicate effectively with partners and end customers to deploy online entertainment services. |
|
Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale. |
|
Some additional tasks and responsibilities will include: Requirements analysis, functional analysis and breakdown, risk and cost analysis, trade-off analysis, and engineering design reviews. |
Qualifications :-
|
Minimum 15 years of IT with progressive management growth with more than 8 years of software and system development experience in a systems level company with experience in managing complex system development, working with senior managers internal and external and other functions. |
|
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering required. |
|
Experience design and development with embedded software development, web services, networking protocols, and application UI development. |
|
Able to specify and lead complex, cross-platform integrations. |
|
Demonstrable analytical problem solving and risk management skills, particularly in systems design area. Flexible attitude and team-building skills at all levels. |
|
Ability to influence, train, mentor and leverage the skills of others, including business partners and technical team. |
|
Excellent understanding of network architecture and systems security principles. |
|
Proficient in English both written and spoken. |
|
Able to commence immediately or in short notice is highly preferred. |
